Multiple top European clubs have been linked with a move for the Germany U21 centre forward, but Arsenal are currently leading the race to secure his signature, as per Christian Falk.

The German football reporter posted on X: “Arsenal are currently the favourites to sign German striker Nicolo Tresoldi. The club is seriously interested and talks are underway.”

Clubs in Germany, Italy and Spain are also interested in signing Tresoldi this summer, with Club Brugge understood to be demanding a fee of €30 million to sanction a sale ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Arsenal want Nicolo Tresoldi

Arsenal bolstered their attacking roster with the signing of Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP last summer and although he has been a regular in Mikel Arteta’s preferred starting XI, the Sweden star could be replaced before next campaign.

It’s reported that Arsenal are set to battle Barcelona and Chelsea for Atletico Madrid superstar Julian Alvarez this summer, while the Gunners are also now in early negotiations over a deal for Tresoldi as they look to improve the options available at the Emirates Stadium.

However, Tresoldi’s potential arrival could signal the end of Gabriel Jesus’ career at Arsenal. He has been heavily linked with a departure in recent months and a sale is likely to be sanctioned if the north London giants are able to sign a new striker before next season begins.

His former club Palmeiras are expected to rekindle their interest in his signature this summer and it’s reported that Jesus could be open to a return.
