Chelsea in €40m wonderkid offer
Chelsea have opened talks with Trabzonspor over the transfer of Christ Inao Oulai, with the Turkish club’s president confirming that the wheels are in motion for a deal.
The Blues have reportedly made a €40 million bid for the 19-year-old, who is regarded as one of the biggest prospects in the Super Lig, having only arrived at the club from French side Bastia last summer in a €5.5m deal.
Liam Rosenior’s side may need to act quickly to get this move over the line, with interest in the midfielder rapidly building.
Mateta pushing for January Man Utd deal
Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta is seeking to complete a transfer to Manchester United this month.
The France international forward hopes that the Red Devils will make a late bid for him in the window, with the 28-year-old apparently eager to leave Selhurst Park.
Mateta aims to establish himself as United’s go-to option in attack, with Benjamin Sesko having disappointed since arriving in a big-money deal from RB Leipzig in the summer.
Arsenal eye club record Alvarez deal
Arsenal have been linked with a stunning move for Atletico Madrid attacker Julian Alvarez, with Mikel Arteta’s side tracking the Argentine ahead of a possible transfer bid in the summer.
The Gunners and Chelsea have both initiated talks with those close to the forward in order to gauge the possibility of completing a deal, which would likely be a club record as Spanish reports suggest a price tag of €150m has been put on the player.
Alvarez is said to be open to a deal, with a huge transfer battle for his signature expected.
