David Beckham issues fresh Ruben Amorim verdict
Sir David Beckham believes that Ruben Amorim is “turning things around” at Manchester United following their 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.
A penalty from Jean-Philippe Mateta put Oliver Glasner’s side 1-0 up at Selhurst Park, however second-half goals from Joshua Zirkzee and Mason Mount helped Man Utd seal a crucial Premier League win.
The Red Devils are now seventh in the English top flight table after 13 matches and they are only four points behind arch-rivals Manchester City in second.
Man Utd’s dismal defeat to 10-man Everton last week is their only loss in their last seven Premier League games and Beckham believes Amorim is beginning to show his credentials at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils legend was in attendance at the Qatar Grand Prix on Sunday, won by Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen, and he was asked about the current state of affairs at Man Utd during an interview with Sky Sports reporter Craig Slater.

“I think there are signs of the manager turning things around,” Beckham admitted.
“He has tweaked a few things and we are coming into a few better results. There's still a long way to go and there has been a few games where we haven't been playing as well.

“But I think we've got a good manager there and I think he is changing things slowly.”
Amorim endured a torrid start to life at Man Utd following his appointment last November, however the Red Devils boss no longer appears to be at risk of being sacked.
In fact, the bookies believe that Daniel Farke (Leeds United), Thomas Frank (Tottenham Hotspur), Arne Slot (Liverpool), Scott Parker (Burnley) and Marco Silva (Fulham) are all more likely than Amorim to become the next Premier League manager to be fired.
