Man Utd get Endrick boost after agent meeting: He wants to leave Spain
Manchester United have received a positive update on Real Madrid wonderkid Endrick, although one major detail could complicate a January deal.
The Brazilian wonderkid is determined to leave Los Blancos in the winter as he has yet to play a single minute of football under new head coach Xabi Alonso. Endrick missed much of pre-season and is now playing catch-up.
The 19-year-old is looking to depart on loan to get minutes under his belt ahead of the 2026 World Cup, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that a permanent exit is being ruled out because the youngster still has hope of establishing himself at Real Madrid in the future.
Marseille and Man Utd have been linked with him for a while, but earlier this week, claims emerged that Real Sociedad are the favourites to secure a signature due to their recent history of turning Real Madrid prospects into elite players.
However, it seems that this reporting was premature. The latest coming out of Spain suggests that there is no clear favourite for Endrick's signature at this point, but there is already major movement behind the scenes.
Endrick decides to leave Spain
According to El Chiringuito, Endrick's representatives met with Real Madrid officials this week to discuss the striker's next move. Los Blancos have agreed to let the player leave on loan, and he is said to be keen to leave Spain.
This rules out a move to the Basque Country and would appear to favour Man Utd. However, the report also states that Endrick would prefer to move to a side playing in Europe.
Man Utd can't offer European football, while there could also be game time concerns at Old Trafford, given that the Red Devils spent a whopping €85 million on Benjamin Sesko.
This seemingly puts Marseille in pole position for his signature, but more suitors will surely emerge between now and January. As for Man Utd, even if they can't offer European football, it is difficult to imagine that Endrick could resist the allure of the Red Devils.
