Chelsea have reached full agreements to sign Brighton duo Julio Enciso and Facundo Buonanotte, with the former initially set to join Strasbourg.

The Blues are set to finish the transfer window with three more high-profile signings. Alejandro Garnacho will be announced as a new Chelsea player imminently, having completed a €46 million move from Man Utd.

Additionally, it emerged earlier on Friday that Chelsea had opened talks with Brighton over a quite bizarre loan deal for attacking midfielder Facundo Buonanotte.

David Ornstein of The Athletic now reports that a total agreement has been reached for a move that will see the 20-year-old join Chelsea on a straight season-long loan with no purchase option or obligation.

The Argentine is linking up with Chelsea as an alternative to Xavi Simons, who has completed a move to Tottenham after growing tired of waiting for the Blues to agree a deal with Leipzig.

BlueCo seal Enciso deal

At the same time that Ornstein announced the Buonanotte news, Fabrizio Romano reported that Chelsea owners BlueCo have finalised the signing of Julio Enciso, also of Brighton.

Unlike the Buonanotte deal, this transfer has been in the works for a week already. However, complications with the Paraguay international's medical meant that extra tests were required before his move could be greenlit.

Enciso has recently had injury issues, so BlueCo wanted to make sure that there is no serious damage that could lead to future problems. Unlike his Brighton teammate, the 21-year-old will initially join Strasbourg on a permanent deal.

However, the idea is for Enciso to be transferred to sister club Chelsea next summer. He is expected to cost BlueCo around €20m and has agreed a contract until 2030.
