The football transfer expert has claimed that all the documents have been signed for the deal to be formalised, with an official announcement just a matter of time.

Previously, Eze had been spotted filming with Arsenal legend Ian Wright late on Friday night in the latest hint that a deal will be announced soon.

Gunners still want Real Madrid star

Although Arsenal have signed Eze, they continue to be linked with a move for Real Madrid winger Rodrygo, with TeamTalk indicating that a deal is still live.

While the England international has been signed to act primarily as a No.10, Rodrygo would be added as a winger.

Reports in Spain suggest Liverpool are ahead in this particular race. The player has an asking price of around €100 million, suggesting that he will be out of the Gunners’ price bracket given the addition of Eze.

Fofana on Arsenal shortlist

Another winger that Arteta is keeping tabs on is Lyon’s Malick Fofana, L’Equipe reports.

The French source claims the Gunners could “accelerate” in the final days of the market for the exciting wide player.

Everton have already launched a bid worth €40m but Fofana turned the move down. It is thought he is playing for time, given Arsenal’s interest – but Bayern Munich also want the player.

Lyon need to sell in order to buy, with former Gunners star Ainsley Maitland-Niles one of the other players who could be offloaded.

Hein announcement close

Arsenal are making space in their squad for their new signings and one of the players to be sacrificed is young goalkeeper Karl Hein.

The Mirror reports that he is close to completing a move to Bundesliga side Werder Bremen.

While the Gunners want a permanent sale, they may settle on a loan with an obligation to buy. This move appears to be a matter of time before it is completed.

Kiwior wants out

Mikel Arteta also faces losing Jakub Kiwior from his squad, with the Poland international defender frustrated at his peripheral role.

O Jogo claims that the former Spezia star wants to join Porto. It is claimed that ‘informal talks’ have already started between the clubs.

’One to watch’

Arsenal fans have been told one transfer to keep an eye on before the end of the window.

Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sport Deutschland says that Fabio Vieira is liable to leave the Gunners, having been pushed increasingly down the pecking order.

He reports: “Fabio Vieira is still one to watch until Deadline Day, as his departure from Arsenal is planned — possibly on loan. There are numerous enquiries.

“The 25-year-old can play as an attacking midfielder and on the wing. Let’s see if Bayern step in. A move to Stuttgart was not realistic recently.”
