Eberechi Eze to Arsenal done

Arsenal looked set to miss out on Eberechi Eze to Tottenham Hotspur, but they lodged a successful last-minute hijack attempt and he is now on the verge of officially joining the Gunners.

“Let me start with Eberechi Eze - medical completed at Arsenal,” Romano admitted in his latest YouTube video.

“Arsenal have their new man for £60 million. The player said ‘yes’ to Arsenal and Eze can be considered a new Arsenal player.

“The story is completed after this crazy week. Eze was close to joining Tottenham, but the big hijack happened in the last two-three days for Eze.”

Savinho to Tottenham?

Tottenham are still determined to bolster their attacking ranks after missing out on Eze and Manchester City winger Savinho remains a top target, as per Romano.

“I maintain my position on Savinho. In the last 24 hours, Tottenham’s message is that they would be prepared to improve their bid for Savinho. They are prepared to pay over €70m for Savino,” Romano told his YouTube channel.

“Let's see if this is going to be enough to convince Man City or not. Man City rejected the first bid of €50m, then Tottenham improved the bid verbally, not with an official proposal, and City said, “No, let's not even send an official bid because we don't want to sell the player. We want Savvina to stay.”

“Man City have been blocking the deal, but let's follow the situation of Savinho until the end of the window. At the moment it's still a ‘no’ from Man City, but Tottenham want to go over €70m.

“They feel that the player is keen on the move and Thomas Frank wants Savinho.”

Man Utd close to signing Senne Lammens

Manchester United have already spent €229.7m on new signings so far this summer, however they are now edging closer to adding a new goalkeeper to Ruben Amorim’s squad.

“Man Utd are advancing in talks to sign Senne Lammens - the Belgian goalkeeper from Royal Antwerp,” Romano confirmed.

“Man Utd could complete one more signing. The player said ‘yes’ to Man Utd and the player is keen on a move to Man Utd.

“For Man Utd to close this deal, they want to anticipate clubs from Germany and France for Lammens, so Man Utd want to be fast.

“At the same time if Lammens arrives, it means that maybe one goalkeeper has to leave this summer. So let's see what's going to happen there. At the moment it doesn't mean that Andre Onana leaves.

“What Man Utd are doing is negotiating for Lammens. They have a green light from the player and I'm told this is a concrete story that Man Utd are really working on.

“They see him as very talented and they have been in contact for this deal for a long time.

“Many of you can say, ‘Why Lammens and not Gianluigi Donnarumma?’. First of all, it's still not a done deal but it’s advancing. Second, Lammens’ salary is completely different compared to Donnarumma’s.

“The salary of Donnarumma at PSG is something around €10m net, while Lammens is probably 10 times less than this.”

New midfielder for Man Utd?

Man Utd have also been linked with a number of midfielders after accepting defeat in their pursuit of Carlos Baleba, including Angelo Stiller.

“Angelo Stiller is a very good player, but the message from Stuttgart is very clear: They want the player to stay this summer. They are not entertaining talks with any club. So at the moment Stuttgart are very relaxed about the situation of Angelo Stiller,” Romano clarified.

“They have not received any call or any approach from Man Utd. There are no concrete movements ongoing with Man Utd.”

Romano added: “Another name that is always in the rumours for Man Utd is Fermin Lopez. But, there was a very clear message today from Hansi Flick saying that he wants him and Marc Casado to stay.

“I did a video on Marc Casado a few days ago telling you that he doesn't want to leave Barcelona. There are many clubs interested, especially from the Premier League, but at the moment Casado is not pushing to leave Barca.

“For Fermin Lopez, it’s impossible for Barcelona to let him go. They want Lopez to stay. In the transfer window anything can happen, but at the moment there are no concrete talks or concrete negotiations.

“For Lopez, the situation is very quiet and Barcelona are very happy with him.”

Julio Enciso deal

Romano has also confirmed that Brighton & Hove Albion forward Julio Enciso’s move to Strasbourg is “completed”, with the youngster expected to subsequently join Chelsea.

“Julio Enciso is leaving Brighton to join Strasburg for this season and then future to Chelsea,” he said.”

“This is the project for Enciso, who completed the second part of his medical today in London. He's now going to sign a contract until June 2031, with an option for a further year.

“BlueCo will pay something around €20m for Enciso and everything is done. Enciso will start at Strasbourg then if he does well at Strasburg this season, the opportunities to be a Chelsea player in the future will obviously be huge.

“This is the plan. This is the project. This is also why Enciso said ‘yes’ to this opportunity despite interest from Italy, South America and the Premier League.

“Several clubs wanted him but he accepted this opportunity offered by BlueCo Group to go to Strasbourg and then one day become a Chelsea player. The deal was ‘here we go’ and now it’s completed."
