FootballTransfers understands that both Victor Osimhen and Ollie Watkins are also on Chelsea’s radar, with the club desperate to sign a prolific number nine as they look to challenge Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City for the Premier League title next season.
Enzo Maresca’s side are long-term admirers of Sesko and they sent scouts to watch the Slovenia international face Bayern Munich on Saturday, according to TBR Football.
Representatives from Arsenal and Liverpool were reportedly also at the Red Bull Arena in order to keep a close eye on Sesko, and he scored a stunning trivela finish in the 11th minute to open the scoring.

Benjamin Sesko to leave RB Leipzig?
Arsenal have reportedly conducted “extensive background work” on Sesko, while Chelsea and Liverpool are both extremely interested in the 21-year-old and remain contenders to sign him.

All three clubs are in talks with Sesko’s representatives, as per TBR Football, although FootballTransfers has been told that Arsenal have shifted their focus to finalising a deal for Viktor Gyokeres since the appointment of Andrea Berta as their new sporting director.
As a result, Chelsea and Liverpool may be set to battle for Sesko this summer as they both look to bring in a number of forward reinforcements.
Sesko has scored 21 goals and provided six assists in 43 appearances across all competitions so far this season, and his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) currently stands at a career high of €66.9 million - the eighth highest of any player in the Bundesliga.
