FootballTransfers was able to reveal that Arsenal explored a Deadline Day move for highly-rated Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi but were snubbed - and Zubimendi went on to score the day after.

Liverpool want another midfielder

Signing four midfielders in the summer window wasn't enough and Liverpool are already plotting a big-money move for another midfielder for January.

Mason Greenwood completed a shock loan to Getafe late on Deadline Day in a move that, unsurprisingly, sparked outrage.

Now, it has been revealed that Man Utd will cover more than half of his salary during his stint in Spain.
