Manchester United are preparing for a summer overhaul that could see as many as 15 players depart, with head coach Erik ten Hag keen to offload several underperforming stars before the start of the 2023/23 season.

The Red Devils are set to take drastic action following their humiliating 5-2 aggregate defeat to Sevilla in the Europa League quarter-finals by selling unwanted assets, with the for-sale list including club captain Harry Maguire and injury-prone forward Anthony Martial.

Donny van de Beek, Anthony Elanga, Dean Henderson and Brandon Williams have also been transfer listed. Alex Telles, Hannibal Mejbri and Eric Bailly, who are currently out on loan, are almost certainly set to depart, while the out-of-contract Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe won't be extending their deals at Old Trafford.

David de Gea may also leave, but talks over signing a new contract remain ongoing. Wout Weghorst and Marcel Sabizter are also set to return to Burnley and Bayern Munich once their loan deals expire, although Ten Hag may negotiate with Bayern over signing Sabizter on a permanent deal.
