Ousmane Dembele appeared to brush off rumours linking him to Chelsea in bizarre fashion, after speaking to a fan from his car in traffic.

The winger's contract at Barcelona will expire this summer and the Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to Thomas Tuchel's side.

But footage on social media showed the 25-year-old say 'yes' when being asked whether he would stay at Barcelona.

And after the fan further pressed Dembele by questioning whether he would be interested in a reunion with Tuchel, the ex-Dortmund man replied 'I feel good at Barcelona.'

Does Dembele have a future at Barcelona?

Dembele was one of the biggest benefactors in the mid-season arrival of manager Xavi at Barcelona and eventually finished the season with one goal and 13 assists despite only making 15 starts in La Liga.

The club have been desperate to keep hold of the player they paid €145 million for in 2017 however they have grown impatient with Dembele's reluctance to commit to a new deal.

However, with the projected injection of cash set to come from their recent financial restructuring, Barca may be able to offer a better contract to Dembele.

The Spanish side have yet to receive any indication that Dembele actually wants to stay at the club, with the former Rennes wonderkid still considering his options.

Dembele is thought to be a genuine target for Chelsea however he is reportedly not convinced by the prospect of joining the Blues as they have not offered him assurances of a starting role.

He had previously worked with Tuchel at Dortmund but the interaction with the fan could indicate that the two may not link up again and that Dembele could continue in Spain with Barca.
