Transfer Rumours: Benjamin Sesko shock as Chelsea make 'decisive move'

Barcelona want Sesko

Barcelona have added Man Utd striker Benjamin Sesko to their shortlist of targets, CaughtOffside claims.

Atletico Madrid star Julian Alvarez remains the Catalans' top target for the No.9 position, but a deal is proving difficult. Consequently, Barcelona are eyeing up potential alternatives, with Sesko one of the options being discussed.

Contact has been made to gauge whether a deal is possible, but Man Utd have made it clear that the Slovenia international is not for sale given that he has only been with the team for a season.

Chelsea make Cambiaso move

Chelsea have made a "decisive move" for Juventus defender Andrea Cambiaso, as per Sportmediaset.

The Blues are set to make an initial offer of around €25 million plus €5m in bonuses, which falls short of Juventus' valuation of over €40m. However, the Serie A side need sales before the 30 June deadline of the current financial year.

Chelsea want to use this to their advantage to get a favourable deal. Discussions over Cambiaso are in full swing, with the Blues keen to sign a replacement for Marc Cucurella.

Liverpool having Bouaddi meetings

Liverpool have had two meetings to discuss the possible signing of Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The 18-year-old is expected to be one of the major protagonists of this summer as he is likely to leave Lille. Arsenal, Chelsea and PSG have all been linked with him, but Liverpool are now also firmly in the race.

The Reds have been monitoring the Morocco international for more than a year and are now considering the possibility of making a move. Having missed out on the signing of Kennet Eichhorn, Liverpool could now pursue Bouaddi.

Spurs to make Rashford bid

Tottenham are poised to make a bid for Man Utd winger Marcus Rashford, The i Paper writes.

The England star has become an alternative target to Man City attacker Savinho, with Spurs determined to sign Premier League-proven players this summer. They want to test the water with a bid below Rashford's €46m release clause.

Man Utd are keen to sell because they want to get the winger's hefty wage off the books, but it is understood that Rashford is not considering a move to a Premier League rival as things stand. He either wants to go abroad again or stay at Man Utd.

Odegaard for sale?

Arsenal will listen to offers for captain Martin Odegaard this summer, BBC reporter Sami Mokbel has revealed.

The Norwegian has persistently struggled with injuries in recent seasons, which have often restricted him to a bit-part role. With Eberechi Eze having been signed last year, Arsenal already have a ready-made replacement.

"There have been some whispers over the summer that Arsenal might be interested in letting Martin Odegaard go for the right price," Mokbel said.
