The Manchester United and Real Madrid legend has spoken to Jorge Jesus over potentially taking the deal.

The 70-year-old Portuguese, who is out of work since leaving Al-Hilal in May, is considered a favourable appointment by Ronaldo, according to FootMercato.

“In recent hours, Jorge Jesus has spoken with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, who wants to see the former Benfica head coach land on the bench of the Riyadh-based club,” it reports.

The veteran has reportedly already agreed to take command of Al-Nassr, who have struggled to win major silverware since the high-profile arrival of Ronaldo from Manchester United in December 2022.

Ronaldo’s astronomical new deal worth at least €580m

Jorge Jesus’ appointment is set to be the latest major step to appeasing Ronaldo, who recently signed a two-year contract extension with the club when it appeared that he was in line to depart.

The 40-year-old’s new deal is worth an astronomical sum of money. Ronaldo is said to have recouped a signing-on fee worth €30m, with this figure set to increase to €45m if he moves into the second year of his deal, according to The Sun.

In addition to this, Ronaldo is earning around €200m per year over the course of his two-season commitment.

The total worth of Ronaldo’s new deal at Al-Nassr is thought to be worth a minimum of €580m once all the perks of the contract are included. Little wonder, then, that he gets his say over who picks the team.
