Jonathan David’s next club revealed

Jonathan David has been one of the hottest properties on the market for free agents this summer, but the Lille star appears to have finally made up his mind about where he will play next season.
Intense interest came from the Premier League after David impressed with his scoring prowess for LOSC in the Champions League, notably bagging the winner against Real Madrid. Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal have all been rumoured to be interested in signing him.
More recently, reports emerged that the 25-year-old Canada international could be on his way to Serie A, where Juventus have eyed him up as a potential recruit to aid their attack. The Turin side wanted both David and Victor Osimhen.
But David has now emerged as a likely heir to Osimhen at Napoli, with Sacha Tavolieri reporting that the Serie A champions are primed to sign the striker.
“Understand there's confidence on Jonathan David's side that an agreement as a free agent will be reached with SSC Napoli,” Tavolieri reports.
“Juve still on it but David's currently giving his preference to the new champion of Serie A. The Partenopei made the biggest impression and proposal to the Canadian player yet.”
Is Napoli a good move for David?
Napoli are seen as a strong fit for Jonathan David by data analytics experts SciSports, which gives him a Club Fit score of 73. This is based around a variety of factors, including potential development, playing time, style and formation.
Antonio Conte’s side are a solid fit across the board, with five stars awarded in terms of formation.

Napoli are planning an exciting summer transfer window, which will be part-funded by the inevitable sale of Osimhen.
Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne has notably been linked with the Serie A champions, with the veteran Belgium star, like David, also available as a free agent.
