Bruno Fernandes has been offered over €230 million to depart Manchester United this summer in what could be a lucrative move for the Portugal playmaker.

Man Utd have been assessing their options ahead of the summer transfer window, and there stands a very real possibility of the captain departing following the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

Clearly, this would be an enormous blow to the Red Devils, who were carried by Bruno so often this season, yet the possibility of a €120m transfer fee is one that is too good for the club to turn down.

Al-Hilal from the Saudi Pro League are ready to offer that incredible sum for the playmaker, The Daily Mail reports. Given that Bruno has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €54.8m, they would be paying far above his value.

What will Bruno Fernandes’ salary be in Saudi Arabia?

Bruno Fernandes is set to be offered a contract worth €231m by Al-Hilal, giving him serious cause for thought when considering the possibility of a move. The total package of this transfer for the Saudi side is, therefore, worth over €350m.

The Portuguese will be offered a three-year deal, with an annual salary of €77m per year.

This represents the possibility of a massive pay rise for the 30-year-old, who currently earns an estimated €18.5m per year at Man Utd, where he has two years left to run on his contract.

With time running out on his career, Bruno will have to very carefully consider the possibility of receiving a life-changing sum of money by moving to the Saudi Pro League, where Al-Hilal are still looking for a superstar signing to replace Neymar, who departed in January.

Though a very different player to the Brazil international, he would provide a marquee name for the team to be built around.

Sunday’s clash against Aston Villa could, therefore, be Bruno Fernandes’ last for Manchester United.
