Milan remain one of the biggest clubs in the world, and although success in terms of trophies has evaded them for a few years now, they recently made a return to the Champions League.
The Rossoneri have historically had some of the best players around in their squad.
Over the last couple of decades, the likes of Paolo Maldini, Clarence Seedorf, Andrea Pirlo, Andriy Shevchenko and Kaka have plied their trade at San Siro.
At the moment, the current squad is lacking a global superstar, at least a global superstar in their prime as Zlatan Ibrahimovic is now 40-years-old.
There are certainly some promising younger players, though, and the future could be bright for Milan.

According to our algorithm, the most valuable player in the Milan squad is Theo Hernandez at €52m. Previously at Real Madrid, he has developed into one of the best left-backs in the world while at San Siro.
In second is midfielder Franck Kessie, valued at €42m. His contract expires in the summer and various sources have suggested that he has already agreed a move to Barcelona.
One of the revelations of Italian football over the past year has bene young Englishman Fikayo Tomori. He joined Milan on a permanent basis from Chelsea in the summer and is valued at €38m.
Ibrahimovic, at 40, is valued at €4m.
