Galatasaray make SHOCK Donnarumma move as Osimhen set to become OFFICIAL
Galatasaray continute to make waves on the transfer market as they are now reportedly targetting PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The Turkish champions have really emerged as a force to be reckoned with in Europe with a number of eye-catching moves.
Leroy Sane has arrived on a free transfer, while Ismail Jakobs and Przemysław Frankowski have arrived from Monaco and Lens for €15 million combined.
Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen's €75m blockbuster transfer from Napoli will be made official in the next hours.
Donnarumma next to Galatasaray?
And having negotiated for Inter star Hakan Calhanoglu, TuttomercatoWeb sensational claims that Galatasaray's next big target is Gianluigi Donnarumma.
With the Italy superstar's contract expiring in 2026, Donnarumma has become a target for a number of Europe's biggest clubs, including Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City, Inter and Juventus.
TuttomercatoWeb reports that Galatasaray plan to make a signing in goal this summer, with Mike Maignan, Yann Sommer and Ederson all options.
But the dream target is Donnarumma, who they hope to entice with a huge contract offer.
Donnarumma is currently paid €12m per season in Paris but contract renewal talks are not going well as PSG want to lower his wage.
A move to Galatasaray does seem unlikely though and last month the 26-year-old insisted he wanted to stay in Paris.
“My priority is to stay at Paris," Donnarumma said after Italy's 2-0 World Cup qualifying win over Moldova.
"There won’t be problems for the contract extension with PSG."
The Italian is arguably the best goalkeeper in the world right now after a series of sensational performances in the Champions League triumph this past season.
Donnarumma played a pivotal role in PSG winning the tournament with decisive performances on their run to the final.
Against Liverpool in the last-16, Donnarumma made two big saves in the penalty shootout from Darwin Nunez and Curtis Jones to take PSG through.
Against Aston Villa in the next round, he performed a series of impossible saves to prevent a stirring second leg comeback in Birmingham.

And then in the semi-final success over Arsenal, Donnarumma made four miraculous saves - two in each leg - to ensure PSG won both legs and 3-1 on aggregate.
In the final itself, Donnarumma had little to do as PSG thrashed Inter 5-0 in Munich.
Having debuted at the age of 16, Donnarumma already has 10 years of experience and over 400 club appearances under his belt for Milan and PSG.
He also has been capped 74 times for Italy, winning Player of the Tournament at Euro 2020 as the Azzurri won the trophy.
He has a particularly impressive record against English teams and on English soil, most memorably in the Euro 2020 final shootout win against England.
