Paris Saint-Germain are one of the richest clubs in the world and with their exorbitant spending on transfer fees has also seen their wage bill soar.

In the summer of 2021 they enjoyed one of the best transfer windows of recent memory, bringing in Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Georginio Wijnaldum all on free transfers.

With these free transfers, however, came massive wages which added to an already bloated salary bill with the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe already on the books.

Here is how much each player in the squad earns.

Any high-earning player coming into the club was always at risk of upsetting the dressing room, but the fact that it is Messi means that Mbappe and Neymar probably won't care as much.

Messi is the club's highest earner, taking home €37.9m a year, while Neymar is in second on €36.7m and Mbappe in third on €25.1m.

Mbape's contract actually runs out in the summer of 2022 and PSG are eager to retain his services with a bumper new deal - a deal that would see him become the highest paid player at the club.

PSG have significantly added to their wage bill over the past few months with the aforementioned acquisitions.

Before Messi arrived Marquinhos and Marco Verratti were the joint third-highest paid players at the club, with each player earning €12m a year.

Donnarumma is reportedly on the same as those two, while Wijnaldum and Hakimi are both on €10m.

As well as Mbappe, PSG have Angel Di Maria's contract to worry about as his expires in less than 12 months also.
