Transfer News LIVE - Every rumour, every done deal: MAJOR Osimhen swap deal, Rodrygo FUTURE

Now that the domestic season is over for all major European leagues, clubs can now focus on their preparations for the 2025/26 campaign, with a natural focus on recruitment.
The big spenders will be out in force again, with Real Madrid looking to back new boss Xabi Alonso, Chelsea keen to improve again after securing Champions League qualification, and Manchester United desperate to reclaim some kind of success after a disastrous season that saw them finish just three places above the relegation zone in the Premier League.
The Red Devils have signed Matheus Cunha, with Man City also flexing their financial power to sign Tijani Reijnders, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Marcus Bettinelli and Rayan Cherki.
Some big deals happened earlier than usual due to the Club World Cup and the deadline for participation in that tournament is now over, though the window remains open.
Some questions that will hang over the transfer window this season:
- Will Viktor Gyokeres leave Sporting CP?
- Who will sign Victor Osimhen?
- How much can Barcelona spend?
- Will top players want to join Man Utd?
- Will Arsenal sign a world-class striker?

United asking for too much for Sancho
Man Utd need to lower their demands for Jadon Sancho, according to transfer intermediary Vinncenzo Morabito.
At the moment, the Red Devils want around €25 million for the player, but he only has one year left on his contract so they may have to accept lower to get him to leave.
Morabito told Radio CRC: "Ruben Amorim has made it very clear he does not want Sancho or Marcus Rashford in pre-season training.
"Manchester United are going to have to lower their expectations for Sancho, because they cannot ask for €25m for a player who has one year left on his contract and earns €18m per season wages.
"This operation is feasible, but we need to see how tough Manchester United can be holding out here, because Sancho is a good player and did pretty well at Chelsea. Cristiano Giuntoli wanted to bring him to Juventus last year, but then it didn’t go through."
Xavi Simons linked with host of English clubs
There are several Premier League sides interested in buying Xavi Simons.
The attacking midfielder could leave RB Leipzig this summer but his departure may be dependant on the future of Benjamin Sesko as the German side will be keen not to lose both.
Leipzig want at least €70 million for Simons, with Man Utd, Arsenal, Newcastle and Tottenham all interested in bringing the Dutchman to the Premier League. (Sport Bild)
Alonso comments on Rodrygo situation
Xabi Alonso has suggested Rodrygo will stay at Real Madrid amid speculation about the player's future.
The Brazilian is reportedly unhappy with his standing at Real Madrid following the arrival of Kylian Mbappe last season, while the club signing another forward, Franco Mastantuano, has only added to the competition for places. He has been linked with a big-money move to Arsenal, but Alonso says the player is ready to "contribute" to the Madrid cause.
“I know what had happened in the final stretch, it was not easy for him," the Spaniard said before Los Blancos' Club World Cup match against Al-Hilal.
“He took some time to reset his head and I see him wanting to enjoy and contribute.”
This saga could go on all summer...
Milan keen on Xhaka
Milan are targeting a move for Granit Xhaka as they look to rebuild their midfield.
Tijani Reijnders has already left the Rossoneri for Man City, while Ruben Loftus-Cheel and Yunus Musah could also leave the club this summer.
Milan sporting director Igla Tare reportedly met Xhaka's agents on Monday to discuss a potential deal, but Leverkusen will not want to lose another key player after the departures of Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong. (Football Italia)
Bayern identify Nico Williams alternatives
Bayern Munich will look to sign either Liverpool's Cody Gakpo or Brighton's Kaoru Mitoma after failing to secure a deal for Nico WIlliams.
The German giants joined the battle to sign Williams earlier this summer, but it appears the Athletic Club winger will either sign a new deal with the Basque side or join Barcelona.
Bayern are still keen on a new left winger, though, and have identified Gakpo or Mitoma for that position. (Sky Germany)
Son wanted by three Saudi sides
Heung min-Son could leave Tottenham this summer, with three Saudi Pro League clubs interested in offering him a lucrative deal.
The Korean is Spurs' club captain and remains a key player, but he is now 32 and missed some key matches last season due to some niggling injuries.
Son's contract expires next summer which means he could become available for as little as £32 million, with Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr and Al-Qadsiah all keen to bring him to Saudi. (Talksport)
The Rodrygo-Arsenal situation
Fabrizio Romano has provided an updated on the Rodrygo-Arsenal saga.
“On Rodrygo, what I’m hearing, is that the position of Arsenal is absolutely confirmed," he said on his YouTube channel.
"Arsenal like and appreciate Rodrygo and will add, not just a striker, but an important winger to their squad in the summer transfer window. Yes, they like the player and they are informed on the player, but they are not negotiating with Real Madrid, they have not approached the club or the player. We’re not even at the early stages.”
