Transfer News LIVE - Every rumour, every done deal: City want Barca wonderkid, Watkins-Man Utd progess
The big spenders will be out in force again this summer, with Real Madrid looking to back new boss Xabi Alonso, Chelsea keen to improve again after securing Champions League qualification, and Manchester United desperate to reclaim some kind of success after a disastrous season that saw them finish just three places above the relegation zone in the Premier League.
The Red Devils have signed Matheus Cunha, with Man City also flexing their financial power to sign Tijani Reijnders, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Marcus Bettinelli and Rayan Cherki.
Some big deals happened earlier than usual due to the Club World Cup and the deadline for participation in that tournament is now over, though the window remains open.
The biggest deal so far this summer saw Florian Wirtz complete a blockbuster transfer to Liverpool from Leverkusen.
Some questions that will hang over the transfer window this season:
- Will Viktor Gyokeres leave Sporting CP?
- Who will sign Victor Osimhen?
- How much can Barcelona spend?
- Will top players want to join Man Utd?
- Will Arsenal sign a world-class striker?

Lyon set Malick Fofana asking price
Lyon will demand at least €60 million for Malick Fofana.
The young winger is a wanted man this summer and will likely leave due to Lyon's dire financial situation which could see them relegated from Ligue 1.
Even with those money troubles, the French side will set a big valuation on Fofana due to Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Fulham, Nottingham Forest, Bayern Munich, Napoli and RB Leipzig all being involved in a bidding war. (Independent)

Mosquera rejects new Valencia deal
Cristhian Mosquera is pushing to sign for Arsenal.
The Gunners have already had a bid for the centre-back turned down by Valencia, who attempted to tempt the player to stay with a new contract on higher wages.

Will Luis Suarez be released by Inter Miami?
AS reports that Luis Suarez is destined to leave Inter Miami at the end of his deal.
“The Uruguayan has a contract until the end of the year and almost certainly won’t renew with the Herons. It’s a decision that’s been under consideration since his extension back in January when the team’s participation in the Club World Cup was considered,” the Spanish source reports.
Inter Miami’s stance has been fuelled by the fact that they want to free up a Designated Player spot, with Suarez’s salary one of the highest at the club.
MAJOR competition for Rodrygo
Arsenal have been put on high alert as Paris Saint-Germain have apparently made Rodrygo their number one transfer target for the summer.
Luis Enrique has a wealth of talent at his disposal with Ousame Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Desire Doue, Bradley Barcola and Goncalo Ramos all vying for minutes in his front three.
PSG believe Rodrygo will provide Enrique with another quality option as they look to defend their Champions League crown, but they will likely need to pay Real Madrid at least €80 million for the Brazilian. (Fichajes)
