The summer window is approaching, and clubs are able to negotiate pre-contracts for European players whose deals expire in the after this season.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jonathan David and Kevin De Bruyne were three big names who ran down their contracts and joined new clubs on a Bosman transfer in the summer of 2025.

And in 2026 there are some more huge names who are due to become free agents.

In the Premier League, Liverpool's Andy Robertson has announced he will leave Anfield, while the Reds are fighting to retain Ibrahima Konate, who is available for nothing. Meanwhile, Manchester United's Casemiro has also confirmed he will be on the move, as has Man City's John Stones.

Another one to watch is Marcos Senesi. Rated the best centre-back in the Premier League by SciSports, he is closing in on a move to Tottenham - though this depends on Spurs staying in the top flight.

In La Liga, Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski and Real Madrid's Antonio Rudiger, David Alaba and Dani Carvajal have their contracts run out. Lewandowski and Alaba will almost certainly leave their respective clubs.

In Serie A, Juventus' Dusan Vlahovic and Paulo Dybala of Roma are among the big names whose contracts expire. Lorenzo Pellegrini is also set to leave the Giallorossi.

Bayern Munich's Leon Goretzka has announced his exit, while Borussia Dortmund have announced that Julian Brandt will not have his contract extended.
