Gabriel replacement search begins

Man Utd have resigned themselves to losing wantaway wonderkid JJ Gabriel, talkSPORT reports.

The 15-year-old recently requested to have his registration cancelled so as to be able to change clubs as a free agent, sparking a veritable frenzy to sign him. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG and numerous Premier League sides are chasing Man Utd's "Kid Messi."

The Red Devils would have preferred to keep this potentially generational talent, but they have now begun the process of scouting possible replacements, with 16-year-old RC Lens starlet Mezian Mesloub one option under consideration.

Bayern eye Gibbs-White

The same outlet also understands that Bayern Munich are among the "leading contenders" to sign Nottingham Forest attacker Morgan Gibbs-White in 2027.

The 26-year-old could be on the move next year after establishing himself as one of the Premier League's best attacking midfielders over the past 12 months. Chelsea have been heavily linked with a possible move for the England star.

Tottenham came close to signing Gibbs-White in 2025 when they outlined their intentions to trigger his release clause. However, Nottingham Forest owner Evangelo Marinakis stepped in and reportedly threatened legal action, which culminated in the player signing a new deal.

Yoro to be axed?

Leny Yoro is fighting to save his Man Utd career after two underwhelming years at the club, TEAMtalk claims.

The Red Devils are not actively looking to get rid of the Frenchman, but another disappointing season will put his long-term future under scrutiny, especially with the club possibly looking to make a major centre-back signing in 2027.

Jarrad Branthwaite of Everton, Finn Jeltsch of Stuttgart and Tiago Gabriel of Lecce are some of the names being closely monitored by Man Utd's recruitment department. If Yoro fails to impress, he could be sacrificed to fund a deal for an incoming.

Chelsea keeping tabs on Brobbey

Chelsea continue to track Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey, Simon Phillips writes.

The Blues were already keeping tabs on the Netherlands international during the summer transfer window, and his electric start to the new season has only boosted their admiration for him.

Chelsea are closely monitoring his performances for the Black Cats and could be tempted to make a move for the 24-year-old even though signing a new centre-forward is not regarded as a priority for 2027 as things stand.

Bayern plot future Haaland move

Bayern Munich have started the process of succession-planning for Harry Kane, with Man City superstar Erling Haaland high on their list of possible targets, as per TEAMtalk.

The England captain is poised to sign a new contract at the Allianz Arena, but at 33, there is an acceptance that he is slowly coming towards the end of his time at the very highest level and plans for life after Kane need to be put in place.

Bayern could make a move for Haaland in the future, but only if the timing aligns with Kane's eventual departure. The fact that Real Madrid and Barcelona are allegedly planning to pursue the Norwegian as early as next summer could throw a spanner in the works.
