Chelsea made Lewis-Skelly move

Chelsea have enquired about Arsenal youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly, Sky Sports understands.

Reports on Monday claimed that the 19-year-old had been offered to Chelsea and Man Utd in the wake of Bruno Guimaraes' arrival, but the outlet cited above makes no mention of Lewis-Skelly being shopped around or forced out of Arsenal.

On the contrary, it seems that it was Chelsea who actively made a move for him. It is acknowledged that the academy graduate would represent "pure profit," which could yet make a sale possible this summer, but the Gunners have no intention of doing business with a rival like Chelsea.

Ndiaye rejects Al-Hilal

Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye has turned down a transfer to Al-Hilal, Fabrizio Romano reports.

The Senegal international had been the subject of strong interest from the Saudi giants, but the player does not want to head to the Middle East at this stage of his career. If he is to leave Everton, he wants to stay in the Premier League.

This is good news for Man Utd, who are also known to be interested in Ndiaye. However, at present, there has been no movement for him because Marcus Rashford looks set to stay at the club. Moreover, Everton do not want lose their star winger.

Mudryk set for loan

Chelsea have begun exploring a potential loan move for Mykhailo Mudryk, according to the BBC.

The Ukraine international has returned from a doping suspension, but he remains short of match sharpness after 20 months without a competitive game. As a result, it has been agreed to send him out on loan.

Mudryk has accepted the decision, but he has made it clear that he would prefer a move within the Premier League. This could preclude a potential transfer to BlueCo sister club Strasbourg, who are known to have a concrete interest in the winger.

Inter step up Spence talks

Inter have opened formal talks with Tottenham over a deal for Djed Spence, Sky Sports writes.

The England international has been a target all summer, and the reigning Serie A champions are now acting on their interest. Inter believe that Spurs could let Spence leave for a €35 million package.

The North London club are willing to listen to offers because there is a feeling that Spence's opportunities could be limited this season following the arrival of Andy Robertson from Liverpool.

Arsenal interested in Kounde

Arsenal are keeping tabs on Barcelona defender Jules Kounde, Sport claims.

The Gunners are exploring the right-back market amid Jurrien Timber's ongoing fitness struggles. Kounde is attractive because, like fellow target Ezri Konsa, he can play out wide and at centre-back.

Barcelona would be open to a sale at the right price as Hansi Flick no longer deems the France international as important as he did during his first season at the club. Kounde's importance waned last term, and the German coach is content with Eric Garcia and Xavi Espart as his right-backs.
