Arsenal barge into Gomes race

Arsenal have strongly entered the race to sign Porto winger William Gomes, as per Globo Esporte.

The Gunners are the latest Premier League giants to be linked with the 20-year-old Brazilian, with Man Utd and Chelsea also among the clubs credited with an interest in Gomes.

Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Man Utd are all in contact with Gomes' entourage, but Porto do not wish to sell the youngster. He has an €80 million release clause, and reports in Portugal suggest that the Primeira Liga champions would only consider bids north of €60m.

Perez to bid for Olise

Incumbent Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will place a €150m bid for Bayern winger Michael Olise next week if re-elected, according to The Telegraph and Fabrizio Romano.

Perez promised on Thursday evening that he would make the "largest bid in Real Madrid's history" next Tuesday if re-elected this weekend, though he did not disclose the identity of the player. When quizzed about Olise, Perez denied that he would be the player in question.

However, it is now understood that the France international will indeed be the target of Perez's offer. Bayern bosses have been insisting for months that Olise is not for sale at any price this summer. Should it materialise, though, it would be a monumental transfer.

Liverpool and Real Madrid battle for Fernandes

Liverpool and Real Madrid have entered the race for West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes, A Bola reports.

The Portugal international has been primarily linked with Man Utd and PSG in recent weeks, but the battle for his signature is heating up following West Ham's relegation to the Championship.

Incoming Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has shortlisted the midfielder as one of his targets, while Liverpool are "closely following" Fernandes. West Ham continue to demand a hefty price tag north of €80m.

Man Utd eye Ndiaye

Man Utd have added Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye to their summer shortlist, the Manchester Evening News writes.

The Senegal international is being "monitored," but Man Utd have so far refrained from making a move for him. They are still weighing up whether or not to sign a winger this summer. There is a desire to do so, but it is not a pressing priority.

Ndiaye is believed to be a cheaper option than some other names on the market, such as Yan Diomande and Morgan Rogers, but Everton feel no pressure to sell the 26-year-old, despite reports that he has turned down contract offers from the Toffees.

Bournemouth relaxed over Kroupi despite Iraola exit

Bournemouth are "completely relaxed" about the situation of Eli Kroupi, TEAMtalk claims.

The French forward has attracted the attention of Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool, who have just appointed his former Cherries coach Andoni Iraola as their next coach. There have been suggestions that Kroupi is keen to join a Champions League club this summer.

However, "there is no expectation" at Bournemouth that the young attacker will leave the club this summer. It is asserted that "no amount of money will talk [Bournemouth] into a sale."
