Thierry Henry to be honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award at BBC Sports Personality of the Year
Thierry Henry will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 BBC Sports Personality of the Year ceremony.
The Frenchman enjoyed a magnificent career, playing for Monaco, Juventus, Arsenal, Barcelona and New York Red Bulls, as well as the France national team.
Among his honours are two Premier League titles, two FA Cups, two La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey and one Champions League.
He won back-to-back international honours with France at the 1998 World Cup and the 2000 European Championships.

Former Arsenal and France international Thierry Henry will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement award at BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2025.

Henry is considered by many to be the greatest Premier League player in history. During his time in England he won four Premier League Golden Boots and was included the PFA Team of the Year for six consecutive seasons.
After his Lifetime Achievement Award was announced, he told BBC Sport: "Football has given me everything and I gave it my all. To be recognised as part of its history with this Lifetime Achievement award and to have made my mark for the fans and my teammates is something I’ll never take for granted."
