The Brazil international has joined in a deal worth up to €70 million and has penned a seven-year contract.

Pedro has been registered for the Blues' Club World Cup squad and will be part of Enzo Maresca's side.

Sunderland are reportedly close to reaching an agreement to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic.
