Victor Osimhen Transfer News Today: INSANE offer made amid Man Utd HOPE

All the latest Victor Osimhen transfer news, including updates on a potential move to Saudi Arabia and Manchester United's interest.
Insane Al-Hilal offer made
According to Sky Germany, and confirmed by Saudi sources, Al-Hilal are offering Victor Osimhen a whopping net salary of €40 million per season. Moreover, the Riyadh outfit will have no problem paying his €75m Napoli release clause.
However, the German outlet also states that Osimhen has yet to make a decision on whether to accept Al-Hilal's offer, despite suggestions that he is keen to make the move to Saudi Arabia due to the money on offer.
The publication states that Osimhen is genuinely loving life in Istanbul, and that a prolonged stay in Turkey is not entirely off the table, albeit unlikely. In fact, Osimhen has even remained in the city for his post-season holiday.
The report claims that loan club Galatasaray are willing to break the bank to keep the Nigerian. Gala are said to actually be willing to match his Napoli clause, although they are currently trying to push his fee down to €60m.
They are also willing to offer Osimhen a club-record net salary of €15m annually, although there is an acceptance that they can't compete financially with Al-Hilal. However, they are hoping that emotional and sporting considerations will prevail over economic ones.
Galatasaray confident of keeping Osimhen

According to Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk, the Turkish giants' chances of keeping Osimhen beyond this summer currently stand at '51 per cent.'
"Osimhen is important," he told beIN SPORTS. "His positive attitude, how much he loves it here. After the last match, he didn’t say goodbye to anyone. If he had intentions to leave, his behaviour would have been different. I see a 51 per cent chance of him staying.”
Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek is quoted as going even further and suggesting that there is a '70 per cent' chance of keeping Osimhen. “Osimhen wants to stay at Galatasaray, he feels reborn here," Ozbek said, according to Fotomac.
"Negotiations between Napoli and Galatasaray are underway. The offer is good and there is a 70 per cent chance he stays. Victor’s transfer to Saudi Arabia is not as simple as it seems. Al-Hilal cannot give €40m to a player out of the blue. The federation is monitoring this deal.
He also claimed: "There are no offers from Europe. The news about Juventus, Chelsea and Manchester United are lies.”
Al-Hilal in Paris to trash out a deal
L'Equipe reports that Al-Hilal officials have been in Paris this week to thrash out several deals ahead of the Club World Cup. First and foremost, they have been in talks with Simone Inzaghi to become their new manager on a record €26m salary.
Osimhen has also been a topic of discussion, although the outlet suggests that the finalisation of his move could hinge on Al-Hilal offloading Aleksandar Mitrovic first.
Saudi clubs are only allowed a limited number of foreign players, and Al-Hilal need to get rid of several internationals in order to be able to sign all their European targets.
Mitrovic has been attracting interest from his old stomping ground in the Premier League, with even Man Utd said to be keeping tabs on his situation as they remain in the market for a new striker.
Man Utd could reignite Osimhen interest

According to The Athletic, Man Utd could potentially reignite their interest in Osimhen after missing out on Liam Delap. Journalist Ben Jacobs recently stated that the Red Devils' supposed interest in the 26-year-old is being 'downplayed' by sources.
However, the above-mentioned report states that the situation could now change after Chelsea beat Man Utd to the signing of Delap. The Red Devils, it is claimed, could 're-evaluate' the feasibility of a move for Osimhen.
This is despite the fact that Man Utd have missed out on a huge financial windfall as captain Bruno Fernandes has turned down Al-Hilal. The lack of funds will not stop the Old Trafford club from pursuing big-money deals.
Man Utd have already signed Matheus Cunha for €74m and are in talks to sign Bryan Mbeumo for a similar fee. Osimhen, too, would command a figure in that ballpark - in addition to a hefty salary.
However, Man Utd feel they desperately need a reliable striker, most of whom - with the exception of Delap - don't come cheap.
Nigeria boss confirms transfer
There is still some uncertainty surrounding Osimhen's next destination, but it is already set in stone that he will leave Napoli this summer. This has now been confirmed by Nigeria head coach Eric Chelle, who omitted the striker from his latest squad so that he can focus on his next move.
“Victor is, for me, the best striker in the world,” Chelle told BBC Sport Africa. “For him it is difficult to come for this game [versus Russia] because he played a season with a lot of pressure. The reality is there is a transfer window.
"During this time, a player like him is not focused at 100 per cent. I need to protect him physically and mentally because maybe he will go [and get a move]. Maybe a club like Man Utd. Or maybe Chelsea, Barcelona or Real Madrid. So he needs to be focused on that.”
