Victor Osimhen transfer news: 'JAW-DROPPING' €195m deal as striker jets to PARIS after agreement

Victor Osimhen’s transfer saga is racing to a conclusion, with the Napoli striker in line to play in the Club World Cup later this month.
While interest has come from a string of major clubs, including Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea, it appears that it is Al-Hilal who have won the race to sign the striker.
Galatasaray were also interested in signing Osimhen, who enjoyed a superb period on loan in Istanbul, but Turkish media reports that the Super Lig club have been beaten to the player by a “jaw-dropping” offer from the Saudi Pro League.
Here are the latest transfer developments over recent hours.
Osimhen agrees Al-Hilal deal
Victor Osimhen has agreed a contract with Al-Hilal, Di Marzio reports. Previously, it had been claimed that the striker had walked away from negotiations after he was not given his request of €40 million per year.
Now contrary reports indicate that a contract has been agreed worth €30m per year over four years.
It was stressed in this report that the Saudi Pro League side had not yet made an agreement with Napoli over Osimhen’s transfer fee, with the two clubs said to be €5m apart in terms of valuation.
An ‘astonishing’ transfer fee
Galatasaray had pushed hard to sign the 26-year-old striker yet ultimately could not match the financial offer that came from Al-Hilal. This has prompted the Turkish media to delve into the transfer fee and reveal details of a deal that is described as “jaw-dropping”.
Milliyet reports that the total value of the deal before taxes and bonuses stands at €195 million.
Osimhen alone is worth more than all but three clubs in Turkey: Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.

Osimhen travels to Paris
In what promises to be the final chapter of the Osimhen transfer story, the striker is now set to travel to Paris for his medical with Al-Hilal.
Ben Jacobs reports on X: “Al-Hilal have booked a medical for Victor Osimhen and are hoping to finalise a deal with Napoli this weekend.
“Caution remains after 24 hours of twists, but Osimhen is Al-Hilal’s top priority before the Club World Cup. They want the Nigerian striker in Paris today to sign.”
The last year has been full of twists and turns for Osimhen, yet surely his future is now settled in the Saudi Pro League.
