Man Utd making Mbeumo progress

Man Utd are making progress in talks with Brentford over Bryan Mbeumo, who has already handed in a transfer request as he is desperate to join the Red Devils.

Man Utd had an opening bid rejected, but their talks with Brentford remain positive, and they are expected to make a significantly improved second offer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Brentford initially asked for €80 million, but Man Utd have already managed to get them to lower their demands and it is expected that an agreement will be struck.

Romano drops Garnacho bomb

Three Premier League clubs are 'pushing' to sign Man Utd outcast Alejandro Garnacho, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Argentine has been told to find a new club by Ruben Amorim.

Romano did not name the sides interested in the 20-year-old, but he did reveal that it is already set in stone that the winger will leave Old Trafford this summer.

There is also interest from Serie A and Bayer Leverkusen, but Romano expects Garnacho to be too expensive for Erik ten Hag's new side.

Mourinho to save Sancho?

Fenerbahce, coached by Jose Mourinho, are interested in signing Jadon Sancho this summer. The Man Utd winger has returned to Old Trafford after Chelsea opted out of their purchase obligation by paying a €6m penalty fee.

Sancho and Chelsea could not agree terms on a contract due to the player's unwillingness to fit into the Stamford Bridge club's wage structure. Fenerbahce have no such concerns over Sancho.

The Istanbul side are keen to give Mourinho some statement signings and have also offered Bayern winger Leroy Sane a lucrative contract with an annual €15m net salary.

Crystal Palace have offered Jean-Philippe Mateta a new contract to fend off interest from Man Utd, who are scouring the striker market after being snubbed by Liam Delap.
