Man Utd or bust: Vlahovic risks EXILE as €84m flop ruins everything

Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic is 'digging his heels in' over his future and risks being exiled from the Bianconeri's squad, according to Italian media.
The Serbia international has been a divisive figure since his arrival at Juventus in January 2022. Signed for a whopping €83.5 million and hailed as a saviour when he joined, Vlahovic has only rarely managed to live up to the hype.
The failure to justify his signing has had dire consequences for Juventus. When the Old Lady acquired him, they handed the 25-year-old one of the most lucrative contracts in recent Serie A history, and it has hamstrung them ever since.
Talks over an extension but on reduced terms have been stalling for over a year. With just 12 months to run on his current deal, Vlahovic feels that there is no reason to agree to a lower salary when he can just run down his contract and pocket a large signing fee from his next club in 2026.
That's why, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, he has turned down a move to Fenerbahce. If he is to leave Juventus this summer, it will only be for a big club in an elite competition.
Vlahovic tension rising
The Italian outlet reports that Vlahovic is 'digging his heels in' and is refusing to compromise on his future. This, it is claimed, could lead to an expulsion from Igor Tudor's squad as his obstinacy is preventing Juventus from finalising the signing of Jonathan David.
The report adds that 'there is no room for reconciliation' and claims that 'he confided to his friends that this summer he has no intention of moving,' although this is an exaggeration.

FootballTransfers recently reported that Vlahovic has been offered to Premier League clubs via his representatives, particularly Man Utd, whom he would be keen to join.
Indeed, at this point, it seems that a move to Man Utd or another top club is the only way to prevent things from coming to a head. Vlahovic is already struggling to drum up enough high-level interest, and a season spent in Juventus exile won't make the situation any better.
