Chelsea Transfer News Today: Gittens incoming as deal confirmed

All the latest Chelsea transfer news in one place, including updates on Jamie Gittens, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Mohammed Kudus.
Gittens signing imminent

Chelsea are on the verge of striking a deal with Borussia Dortmund for winger Jamie Gittens after continuing talks at the Club World Cup.
Chelsea had two bids rejected in the first summer window, but the deal is now expected to proceed, although it is not yet known how much the Blues will pay for the 20-year-old.
Dortmund are said to be holding steadfast to their €65 million asking price, which is a fee Chelsea were previously unwilling to pay.
Kepa deal confirmed

Arsenal will finalise the signing of Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga this week after holding positive talks with the Spaniard over the past couple of weeks.
The shot-stopper is set to challenge David Raya for the No.1 spot and is expected to cost around €6m due to a release clause in his deal.
Kepa, still the world's most expensive goalkeeper, hasn't played for Chelsea since the 2022/23 season after being sent out on loan in the previous two campaigns.
Why Chelsea didn't pursue Williams

It has been revealed that Chelsea did not move for long-time target Nico Williams due to concerns over his 'overall cost' as signing him would have required a huge outlay despite his affordable €60m release clause.
Williams is on a huge wage at Athletic Club and would have demanded a pay rise to move to the Premier League, while taxes and other expenses would have also inflated the deal.
Chelsea cooled their interest in the Spain international when he informed them that he is looking to join Barcelona this summer.
Kudus ready for transfer

West Ham forward Mohammed Kudus has seemingly confirmed that he is looking to move this summer after switching to a new agency.
The Ghana international, who has been linked with Chelsea, has signed with Munich-based ROOF in what is believed to be an attempt to boost his chances of a transfer.
Kudus has been fielding interest from several clubs in the Premier League as well as Saudi Arabia.
