Arsenal summer transfers 2025: Every signing, sale and loan as Gunners close in on Sesko

Arsenal have been tipped to back Mikel Arteta in the transfer market this summer as they aim to win their first Premier League title since 2004.
The Gunners are without a major trophy in five years and Arteta is therefore under immense pressure to finally bring silverware back to the Emirates Stadium next season.
To achieve that, he has requested a number of high-profile signings, many of which are expected to be formally announced very shortly.
Last summer, Arsenal signed Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Merino and David Raya, while they sold Emile Smith Rowe, Eddie Nketiah and Aaron Ramsdale.
This year, Arsenal are yet to complete their first transfer, although several departures have been confirmed.

Arsenal’s potential incomings and outgoings
Arsenal have identified the centre forward position as their most pressing need during the 2025 summer transfer window, and they are in advanced talks to sign either Benjamin Sesko or Viktor Gyokeres.
They are also hoping to bring Nico Williams to the Emirates Stadium as they look to bolster Arteta’s options out wide.
Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi is a key target too, with FootballTransfers exclusively revealing that he is set to become Arsenal’s first signing of the summer.

In addition, Arsenal are also hoping to agree a deal for a new goalkeeper as they look to land a player capable of acting as a suitable deputy to the aforementioned Raya. They are keeping close tabs on a number of defenders ahead of a possible pursuit.
Arsenal are also set to sanction several exits during the summer window.
Fabio Vieira, Reiss Nelson and Albert Sambi Lokonga are among the players who may depart permanently, following loan moves last summer, while Thomas Partey is still yet to agree a contract extension.
Oleksandr Zinchenko could potentially be sold too, although Gabriel Jesus is likely to remain at the club until he is fully recovered from an ACL injury that kept him sidelined for the final four-and-a-half months of the 2024-25 campaign.
