Victor Osimhen drops transfer hint as Man Utd chase summer deal

Victor Osimhen has hinted that he will not join Galatasaray on a permanent deal this summer, despite admitting his love for the club.
The Nigeria international is set to return to Napoli once his loan spell in Istanbul expires at the end of the 2024-25 campaign, but he is almost guaranteed to be sold by the Serie A giants.
A permanent move to Okan Buruk’s side has been touted as an option, although Osimhen has seemingly hinted that he will not extend his spell at the club, despite the love he has felt since his arrival.
“There’s a mutual connection, a genuine sense of belonging,” he told Galatasaray TV (via Daily Sabah). “To be honest, I’ll be forever grateful to Galatasaray.
“This is the club where I’ve felt the most love, the most support. It’s the most enjoyable chapter of my career,” Osimhen added, suggesting his time at Osimhen is coming to an end.
“There were people who doubted me, who spoke negatively about me. But Galatasaray showed me compassion, gave me a chance to answer them on the pitch. I proved I’m still one of the best in my position.
“They [Galatasaray fans] gave me the opportunity. I gave them everything. There’s love and respect on both sides. That means everything to me.”
Osimhen concluded: “Everything has been great since I arrived. I’ve adjusted well to the people, especially the fans. My family and friends love it here. I’m living the best moment of my life - playing football, doing what I love, and representing not just Turkey’s biggest club, but one of the biggest clubs in the world.”

Which clubs want to sign Victor Osimhen this summer?
Osimhen is wanted by a host of clubs across world football, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United all reportedly interested in acquiring his services this summer.
However, the Nigerian appears most likely to move to Saudi Arabia during the 2025 summer transfer window due to his wage demands.
Osimhen has scored 33 goals in 38 appearances for Galatasaray and his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) currently stands at €66.5 million.
