All the latest Man Utd transfer news in one place, including updates on Ruben Amorim, Rasmus Hojlund and Matheus Cunha.

Man Utd to keep Amorim in charge

Ruben Amorim’s job is safe at Manchester United despite the under-fire boss declaring he was willing to leave without any compensation if the club wanted him to.

Amorim’s failure to win the Europa League means that United will not play European football next season as they sit 16th in the Premier League in a trophyless campaign.

But multiple reports have confirmed that United will continue to back Amorim and invest funds into the squad this summer, with the club still accepting that they are in for a long-term rebuild.

United to listen to offers for entire squad to raise €100m

Man Utd will listen to offers for every one of their players this summer, with the club hoping to add at least €100m to Amorim’s transfer budget through sales.

The failure to secure Champions League football for next season means that United will take a substantial hit to their finances, leaving the club’s transfer budget significantly dented.

But it is hoped that the permanent departures of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony could enhance the money available to Amorim, while many other first team players could be sold for the right price.

Hojlund loses faith of Man Utd chiefs

Rasmus Hojlund is among the players United will look to sell in the summer after a dismal season which has seen the young striker lose the faith of senior figures at Old Trafford.

Hojlund has scored just four times in 31 Premier League appearances and the Danish forward’s poor displays have led United to make a striker their top target of the summer transfer window.

United are hoping to take advantage of interest from Italy in Hojlund, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that the likes of Inter, Juventus and Napoli have all enquired about the 22-year-old in recent months.

Romano gives Fernandes and Garnacho update

Fabrizio Romano also gave updates on the futures of Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho this summer after the pair both spoke out following the Europa League loss to Tottenham.

Garnacho vented his frustration at being left on the bench, leading to Amorim responding by pointing to the winger’s poor finishing in the semi-final against Athletic Bilbao.

“Clubs are expected to discuss Garnacho because these quotes are very strong,” Romano said. “So the feeling is that if Man United receive a good proposal, Garnacho could be one of the players leaving the club in this summer transfer window.”

Fernandes, meanwhile, admitted he would understand if United cashed in on him this summer, however Romano insisted Amorim was keen to keep hold of his captain, while the player is also happy to stay.

Romano said: “Bruno has a very important, I would say almost crazy, contract proposal from Al-Hilal. Al-Hilal met with his agents and would be ready to do important things also in terms of the financial proposal to Manchester United.

“So let's see what happens there, but only if Man United decide to open doors. Bruno wants to stay and Amorim want him to stay. So the only way is if Man United decide to open doors to his exit, with Al-Hilal waiting and hoping to enter on the scene.”

Delap and Cunha latest

There was some good news for Man Utd though, with multiple reports confirming that Matheus Cunha is in advanced talks to sign for the club this summer.

United’s interest in Cunha has been well-documented and they agreed to pay Wolves a fee in the region of his €75 million release clause earlier this months, with talks ongoing.

There had been some fears that United’s failure to secure Champions League qualification may have hindered the move but the deal is projected to be completed soon upon the season’s end.

United are also hoping to beat Chelsea and Newcastle to the signing of Liam Delap but the Ipswich striker has yet to make his decision despite holding talks with all three clubs this week, with his £30m release clause now active
