Alejandro Garnacho contacts Arsenal as Man Utd set new asking price

Manchester United outcast Alejandro Garnacho has reportedly offered his services to Arsenal ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Argentina international has been told to leave Old Trafford by Ruben Amorim and a host of clubs across Europe are monitoring his situation as they ponder a potential summer move.
Chelsea and Napoli were both interested in landing Garnacho during the January transfer window, while Arsenal have emerged as a possible destination for the 20-year-old following his lack of involvement during the Europa League final.
That is according to TBR Football, who claim that Garnacho’s representatives have been in contact with the Gunners in order to clarify his current situation at Man Utd.
Mikel Arteta’s side are eager to bring a new left winger to the Emirates Stadium this summer and Garnacho is considered to be an alternative target to the likes of Nico Williams, Jamie Gittens and Rodrygo.
The Argentine has scored 11 goals and provided 10 assists in 51 appearances for Man Utd this season and the Red Devils are set to demand a transfer fee of €71.4 million (£60m) in order to sanction a sale, as per The Telegraph.
Ruben Amorim vs Alejandro Garnacho
News that Garnacho will leave Man Utd this summer comes amid a brewing feud between the Argentine and Amorim.
The pair have clashed on several occasions over the past few months and tensions reached a new high following the Europa League final.

Garnacho was named on the substitutes bench during Man Utd’s 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at San Mames and he expressed his anger at his limited involvement after the game.
The 20-year-old, who replaced Mason Mount in the 71st minute, told reporters: “Before the final, I played every match, I helped the team. Today, playing 20 minutes…
“Can it influence my future? The match has an impact but the season itself was crap and the situation at the club…
“I’m going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens next.”
Amorim was then asked about Garnacho’s comments during his post-match press conference and he simply replied: “It’s easy to say that now. Who missed a clear chance in the first half of the semi-final? Garnacho. That’s football.”
