The Super Lig club are currently in talks with Liverpool over a deal for Phillips and are considering three options for his signature.

A loan until the end of the season, a loan with purchase option and even a permanent transfer are on the table.

Liverpool are thought to value Phillips at £10 million, but Galatasaray may attempt to negotiate closer to his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €5.8m.

Phillips set to leave Liverpool

Phillips has played just two Premier League games this season for Liverpool, and is deemed surplus to requirements by Jürgen Klopp.

He spent the second half of last season on loan at Bournemouth and has previously been on loan with Stuttgart when they played in Germany's second tier.

It was thought that Virgil van Dijk's injury may open the door to more gametime at Anfield for Phillips, but the return of Rhys Williams from loan means that Phillips has remained down the pecking order at Liverpool.

Benfica had wanted to sign Phillips on loan, but now it looks as if he will move to the Turkish Super Lig before the transfer window closes on Tuesday.
