Arsenal have €62m bid for Mudryk REJECTED: The state of play
Arsenal have made their first official offer for Shakhtar Donetsk sensation Mykhailo Mudryk, but Shakhtar Donetsk are holding out for a three-figure transfer fee.
According to numerous sources, Arsenal have placed a bid that will reach €62 million for the Ukrainian winger.
However, Shakhtar are set to reject the bid and have made it clear that they value Mudryk at €100m.

Nevertheless, negotiations will continue and Shakhtar are expected to lower their demands.
Arsenal have made Mudryk their primary transfer target in January and are determined to get the deal done.
The 21-year-old is considered as one of the most exciting young wingers in Europe having burst onto the scene this year.
Arsenal were heavily linked with signing him in the closing days of the summer window but in the end the transfer didn’t materialise.
The young wide-man - who has been nicknamed "the Ukrainian Neymar" by fans – has been flirting with Arsenal continuously since the summer.
Mudryk has also received interest from Liverpool but the Anfield club have now signed Cody Gakpo from PSV instead.
Shakhtar boss on Mudryk?
Shakhtar sporting director Darijo Srna recently said that Mudryk is the third best player in his role in Europe.
"Mudryk is a serious talent. After Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr, he's the best player in Europe in his position. If someone wants to buy Mudryk they must spend a lot, a lot, a lot of money and respect our club and our president,” Srna said.
Mudryk has been in fine form for Shakhtar this season, scoring eight goals and making 10 assists from 18 games.
Arsenal hope that Mudryk will help strengthen their chances of winning a first Premier League title since 2004.
The Gunners are currently seven points clear at the top of the table following their 3-1 win over West Ham on Monday.
