Doue The Golden Boy: PSG with a RECORD 5-0 win over Inter Milan in the Champions League final

PSG have won the 2025 UEFA Champions League for the first-time in their history.
PSG tore Inter Milan to pieces in Munich, ripping off record-setting 5-0 victory to seal the trophy and their first-ever Treble.
In front of a packed house at the Allianz Arena, PSG capped off their incredible season with a performance that was as dominant as any that has been seen.
Inter Milan had come through the might of Barcelona but could do nothing against a fully-rested PSG side who ran them off the pitch from start to finish.
Who were the winners and losers? FootballTransfers has come up with the answers.
Winner: Luis Enrique
In 2015, Luis Enrique guided Barcelona to win the Treble, sealing the win by beating Juventus 3-1 in Berlin. He plants a Barcelona flag in the centre circle alongside his daughter Xana.
In 2017, Luis Enrique guided Barcelona to the greatest and most iconic comeback in Champions League history against PSG, losing 4-0 in the first-leg before winning 6-1 at the Camp Nou to progress.
In 2019, Luis Enrique's daughter Xana tragically lost her life after a battle with bone cancer.
In 2021, Luis Enrique guided Spain to the semi-final of the Euros where they lost on penalties to Italy.
In 2022, Luis Enrique's Spain lost in the World Cup round of 16, where they were beaten on penalties by Morocco.

In 2023, Luis Enrique was appointed PSG coach.
In 2024, a video of Luis Enrique imploring star striker Kylian Mbappe to work hard defensively goes viral. Mbappe does not heed his manager's lessons and leaves PSG for Real Madrid in the summer of that year.
In 2025, Luis Enrique guides PSG to a historic 5-0 win over Inter Milan in the Champions League final, sealing the club's first trophy and Treble and his second.
The opening goal is scored by a Moroccan, in goal an Italian keeps a clean sheet (after being heroic in their semi-final win), the win is the culmination of PSG's European redemption that began with that abysmal defeat in Barcelona.

Meanwhile Kylian Mbappe was eliminated by Arsenal as his team suffered for his lack of defensive effort, meanwhile PSG pressed and swarmed to dump Arsenal out in the next round before moving on to win the final.
And at full-time, the PSG fans unveiled a tifo of Luis Enrique and his daughter Xana, planting a PSG flag in the turf.
A truly romantic night, pulling together all the narrative strands from the last decade of Luis Enrique's life and intertwining them into the most magical thread that his PSG wove into a spectacular tapestry of footballing artistry.
Loser: Federico Dimarco
You never want to take any credit away from the winning side, as PSG were sublime, but goodness gracious Federico Dimarco gifted them their first two goals.
His awful defending played Desire Doue onside for the first goal, and then he failed to close the French teenager - even turning his back - for the second strike.
Dimarco was so awful he got hooked after just 53 minutes. The Italian put Inter Milan into a hole from which they simply couldn't emerge.
Winner: Desire Doue
No player had ever registered three goal involvements in one Champions League final before, but Desire Doue did just that tonight.

The young Frenchman created the opening goal with an astute assist, then scored the next two. His first goal needed a chunky deflection but his second was a delightful near-post poke to settle the match as a contest.
The Neymar fanboy has achieved greatness at just 19 years of age and can now begin writing his own footballing legacy. Starting with the Kopa Trophy and Golden Boy awards for the world's best young player that he has almost certainly sealed with this performance.
Desire Doue: The Golden Boy.
Loser: Kylian Mbappe
There's no doubt that Kylian Mbappe is one of the most talented players in the world, but his inability to press and work defensively has held PSG back many times over the last few years, and held Real Madrid back this year.
Meanwhile PSG, the side he left to win the Champions League, looks ten times better for his departure and have just claimed the Champions League with a selfless strikeforce where everyone was pressing and working with each other.
Winner: Achraf Hakimi
Achraf Hakimi is the best right-back in the world.
Jules Kounde was undoubtedly running him close all season, but the Frenchman got injured after his Copa del Rey final winning goal, meanwhile Hakimi devastated Arsenal in PSG's semi and then opened the scoring in the final.
The Moroccan is a sensational athlete and an unreal footballer. There was a moment in the game where he had pressed Inter so hard he was actually up in the left-wing position.
A senstional, world-class athlete.
Loser: Barcelona
While PSG were phenomenal, Inter Milan were truly risible and not entirely because of PSG, some of it was just because they sucked. They looked old, weary and beaten.
How did Barcelona fail to knock them out? Ronald Araujo and Gerard Martin, you have a lot to answer for. A PSG-Barcelona final would have been a spectacle of pure football, instead of the bloodbath we ended up with.

Shame on them for depriving the footballing world like that.
Winner: Willian Pacho
It will get forgotten because of the dominance of the full-time scoreline, but for the first 30 minutes of the match, PSG's best player was centre-back Willian Pacho.
Every time Inter tried to do anything in attack, the Ecuadorian was there to send the ball flying back. He rejected everything with the energy of Prime Dikembe Mutombo.
Even with Inter playing poorly, a 1-0 win is open to being turned over. Willian Pacho not only stopped that from happening, but actively made it 2-0.
He chased a loose ball and, athletically, leap up and kick it back into play started the move that led directly to PSG's second goal.
Winner: Senny Mayulu
One of PSG's subs, Senny Mayulu, came off the bench late into the Champions League final as Luis Enrique sought to see out the win.
Then he only went and scored his side's fifth goal!
A lovely run and a thumping finish into the near-post. Mayulu's joyous celebrations were innately wonderful, but the fact that the goal made PSG's win the biggest in Champions League final history made it all the sweeter and will see Mayulu's name go down in football history.
