Kylian Mbappe’s transfer saga continues to dominate football transfer news this summer, with the 24-year-old offered a record one-year deal from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.

Mbappe has indicated that he will leave PSG in 2024 but the club wish to sell him immediately to avoid losing him as a free agent. While European clubs are struggling financially to complete a deal, the Saudi Pro League has stepped in to offer him a one-year contract, after which he could leave to complete his dream move to Real Madrid.

The France star has been offered a salary of over €700 million for his single year at Al-Hilal – and that has attracted the attention of retired Olympic champion Usain Bolt.

REVEALED: Mbappe will earn €60m PSG bonus if he stays until THIS date

“I’m ready to unretire for this one-year salary $776m,” he told his Twitter followers.

Bolt, who attracted a huge fanbase during his career thanks to his flair and showmanship, had hoped to transition into playing football after his life in athletics was over, with 36-year-old Jamaican notably a fan of Manchester United.

Although he trained at A-League club Central Coast Mariners and actually played two friendlies with them, he rejected offers both from them and also Maltese club Valletta.

’Mbappe a farce and an indecency’

Kylian Mbappe has been branded a “farce and an indecency” by a former Serie A sports manager.

Pietro Lo Monaco criticised the PSG star when speaking to TMW, stating: “Mbappe? This guy is a farce and an indecency.

“He has been given a princely contract and full powers at PSG: given them to a player does not exists but he had them! And after a year he wants to leave!

“Only the Saudis can afford to pay him.”

Mbappe is not currently on PSG’s tour of Japan, putting in doubt the France star playing any further role with the Parc des Princes side, much to Real Madrid’s delight.
