Bayern Munich are set to table an increased bid of €100 million for Harry Kane, according to Sky Sports News.

The German giants have already seen a €95m offer rejected for the Tottenham striker.

But Sky reports that they are now set to make an increased offer in an attempt to convince Spurs to sell.

Bayern are ready to pay a club record €90m plus €10m in add-ons for the Tottenham record goalscorer and legend.

This is still some way short of Tottenham’s demands as chairman Daniel Levy is asking for at least €116m in order to sell.

Sky adds, though, that both Bayern and Tottenham are confident that a deal can be completed.

Spurs will also request a buyback clause for the 30-year-old.

Kane’s contract expires in 2024, meaning that Tottenham have to sell the England star this summer or else they risk losing him for free next year.

Bayern have made the signing of a top-class number nine their summer priority and Kane is the main target on their shortlist.

Kane likely to leave Tottenham

Kane is also understood to want to move to Bayern.

This is not the first time he has eyed a transfer away from Tottenham.

Kane was close to leaving Spurs in the summer of 2021. Manchester City were very public in their desire to sign Kane in a €100m-plus deal and it was a transfer that the striker was desperate to make.

However, Tottenham chairman Levy would not sell, even reportedly refusing to pick up the phone to hear Man City’s offer.

This led to the attacker allegedly not turning up for training for the best part of a week, although the Euro 2020 star denies he refused to train.

Kane eventually stayed but could finally leave this summer.
