Tickets for Lionel Messi’s debut for Inter Miami are being sold for an astronomical $110,000, according to CNN.
Messi will make his debut for the MLS side on Friday at the DRV PNK Stadium in a Leagues Cup match against Cruz Azul.
And such is the clamour to watch Messi make his Miami debut that some fans are paying as much as $110,000 for the privilege on the black market.

The average price for tickets for the game are not cheap, either, as they are going for $487.
CNN reports that some fans are travelling as much as 700 miles to get to the game.
Ticket prices for Inter Miami games have increased around 700 per cent since Messi signed.

Messi’s move to Inter Miami
Messi signed for Inter Miami on a free transfer this summer, turning down a return to Barcelona as well as a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia.
The 36-year-old rejected an astronomical contract from Al-Hilal in order to join Inter Miami.
It was reported that Al-Hilal offered Messi a contract in the region of €400-600 million a year but he only wanted Miami.
Messi has spent his entire career until now in Europe, breaking every record going at Barcelona before spending the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons at PSG.
He has enjoyed a brilliant past year after winning the 2022 World Cup with Argentina in Qatar.
