Man Utd raid Rennes for young prospects Jacquet and Meite

Manchester United are eyeing a spectacular double move for Rennes duo Jeremy Jaquet and Mohamed Kader Meite.

The Red Devils are known to be in the market for a centre-back and have targeted Jacquet for this role. The 20-year-old was subject to interest from Arsenal last summer but preferred to stay in Rennes.

Meite, meanwhile, is an 18-year-old centre-forward who has impressed in France with his physicality.

Both players are seen as big prospects and would seem to fit into Man Utd’s long-term project.

Vini Jr in spectacular Real Madrid U-turn

Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior is ready to reopen contract talks with the Bernabeu club, who are softening their position on handing the Brazil international a new contract.

While the club and the player have been in dispute in recent times, Xabi Alonso’s side are poised to hand Vini Jr a one-year extension to give both parties more time to see how the situation develops.

Negotiations are scheduled for early 2026, although the winger’s wage demands could yet pose a problem.

Arsenal reach Max Dowman contract agreement

Arsenal are ready to secure another high-profile new contract at the Emirates Stadium, with Max Dowman ready to put pen to paper on a new deal.
