Spurs get serious over Gakpo

Tottenham are stepping up their pursuit of Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo, according to Voetbal International.

The Netherlands international has been identified as the "bomba" signing teased by manager Roberto de Zerbi at a recent press conference. Spurs view Gakpo as the "missing link" in their new-look side.

Liverpool have yet to open the door to a potential transfer, but the situation is moving following Tottenham's decision to accelerate their pursuit of Gakpo. It is believed that he is keen on a move to North London.

Vinicius Jr deal done?

Arsenal players have been led to believe that a deal to sign Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr is done, AS claims.

The news of the Gunners' interest in the Brazilian superstar has prompted questions from the squad, and sporting director Andrea Berta is said to have reassured them that a deal is on track. The players believe that once Berta and Mikel Arteta home in on a player, they usually get their man.

Reports elsewhere in Spain claimed on Tuesday that Vinicius had rejected Real Madrid's latest contract offer during a meeting. If the situation remains deadlocked, Los Blancos will have no choice but to listen to bids for him as his deal expires next year.

Diomande fee revealed

Real Madrid will pay up to €140 million for RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, as per Sky Germany.

A breakthrough in discussions was finally made on Tuesday, and it is now thought to be only a matter of time before Diomande is officially unveiled as a new Real Madrid player.

The Spanish giants will pay €125m upfront for the Ivory Coast international, with a further €10m on the table in easily achievable add-ons. Another €5m in bonuses is believed to be difficult to trigger.

New Konsa bid

Arsenal will make a fresh bid for Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa, the Daily Mail writes.

The Gunners' opening offer for the England international was rebuffed by a Villa side that is reluctant to sanction his exit. That bid fell short of their €70m valuation of Konsa.

Ideally, Villa would like to tie the centre-back down to a new contract. However, Arsenal are making a strong push following William Saliba's injury and will look to present an improved offer soon.

PSG join Gusto race

PSG are considering a move for Chelsea full-back Malo Gusto, The Sun asserts.

The France international is considering his future after the arrival of Marco Palestra and is believed to be open to a potential move away from Chelsea. This has attracted the attention of Man City and now also PSG.

However, City have reportedly already backed away from a potential deal due to Chelsea's hefty valuation north of €80m. PSG chiefs, meanwhile, are still assessing whether he justifies that price tag given that they already have Achraf Hakimi.
