Chavarria deal agreed

Chelsea have agreed an initial €19 million deal with Rayo Vallecano for Pep Chavarria, according to Ben Jacobs.

The Spanish left-back is set to join Chelsea after a protracted saga, with the Blues finally managing to make a breakthrough. Rayo were reluctant to sanction Chavarria's exit because of their lack of options for the position.

Chelsea originally thought they could strike a €15m deal, but Rayo allegedly raised their asking price during the talks. They will now pay €19m upfront and potential future bonuses, with some outlets reporting that the deal can rise to €25m.

PSG also in for Gusto

PSG are the latest club to show an interest in Chelsea full-back Malo Gusto, The Sun claims.

The France international is facing an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge following the signing of Marco Palestra, who has so far struggled in pre-season. Gusto reportedly began mulling over his future following the Italian's arrival.

Man City are known admirers of the right-back, but they have been put off by Chelsea's asking price of more than €80m. PSG have now also joined the race for his signature.

Neto replacement search

Chelsea have begun their search for a potential replacement for Pedro Neto, the Daily Mail understands.

The Blues are not actively looking to sell the Portuguese winger, but he is drawing concrete interest from Man City and Tottenham. In fact, reports on Tuesday suggested that the Cityzens had officially opened talks with the player's camp.

For Tottenham, meanwhile, Neto is understood to be a backup option should they fail to land Savinho. This state of affairs has forced Chelsea to seriously consider the possibility of having to sign a replacement.

Tosin to leave?

Tosin Adarabioyo could be among the players to leave Chelsea this summer, Fabrizio Romano believes.

The Blues are looking to trim down their bloated squad, particularly in the centre-back department. Xabi Alonso has said that he wants to go into the new season with "four or five" players in that position.

As a result, several defenders such as Trevoh Chalobah and Benoit Badiashile are expected to depart. Romano has now also added Tosin to the list of players to be potentially axed.
