Mudryk to feature in pre-season before Chelsea decide future

Chelsea want to give Mykhailo Mudryk a chance to play in pre-season before making a decision on his future, according to Sky Sports.

The Ukraine international has returned to football with immediate effect after his doping case was resolved by the Football Association (FA) and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

Sky Sports understands a host of clubs have contacted Chelsea over the possibility of signing Mudryk on loan.

However, the same publication claims the Blues are keen to take their time before deciding what is best for the 25-year-old.

Mudryk - who has not played in a competitive match since November 2024 - has joined Chelsea’s pre-season training camp in Hong Kong.

Blues make u-turn over ‘untouchable’ Acheampong

Chelsea are prepared to let Josh Acheampong leave on loan as Xabi Alonso continues to overhaul his defensive options, according to BBC Sport.

Alonso has confirmed he only wants “four or five” centre-backs at his disposal, meaning several defenders are set to leave this summer.

And that could lead to Chelsea sending Acheampong out on loan in order to further his development, BBC Sport understands.

The news comes after the Daily Mail reported last month that Acheampong was considered an “untouchable” by the Chelsea hierarchy.

The Mail claimed the England Under-21 international was set to stay and fight for his place this season, despite receiving interest elsewhere.

Jorgensen ’99.9% certain’ to join Ligue 1 side Strasbourg

Wantaway goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen has agreed to join Ligue 1 side Strasbourg on loan, according to BBC Sport.

BBC Sport reporter Nizaar Kinsella understands the deal between Chelsea and Strasbourg, who are owned under the same BlueCo umbrella, is "99.9%" certain to go through.

The news comes after the same outlet reported in July that Jorgensen asked to leave Chelsea in search of regular first-team football.

Jorgensen joined Chelsea from Villarreal for €23million in July 2024, signing a seven-year contract in west London.

However, the 24-year-old has been unable to usurp Robert Sanchez as Chelsea’s No. 1, making 36 appearances over the last two seasons.

Jorgensen to follow in the footsteps of academy star Antwi

Chelsea academy star Genesis Antwi has joined Strasbourg on a season-long loan deal.

The 19-year-old right-back, who is being tipped to become a future star, made 31 appearances for the Blues’ youth sides last season, scoring two goals.

Sweden Under-21 international Antwi is expected to play a key role for Strasbourg this season, with Guela Doue expected to leave the club.

Doue, 23, is being strongly linked with Paris Saint-Germain in a move that would see him link up with younger brother Desire, 21, in the French capital.

Chalobah to join Como as Alonso's men prioritise sales

Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah is on the verge of joining Serie A side Como in a deal worth up to €36m, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Romano understands the move comes as Xabi Alonso’s side prioritise sales after signing Danny Welbeck, Valentin Barco and Jordan Henderson in the past week.

In a video on his YouTube channel, transfer reporter Romano said: “Now, let's move on to another exclusive update because Trevoh Chalobah to Como is now a 'Here We Go’.

“The agreement has been completed for a fixed fee of €30million, plus a further €6million in add-ons. A sell-on clause has also been included as part of the agreement.

“Trevoh Chalobah will earn €4million net per season with Como, completing an important move for both the player and the Italian club.

“Chelsea continue to work on several outgoing transfers during this window, and Chalobah will now have the opportunity to play UEFA Champions League football with Como.

“The defender has been keen to experience Italian football for several years, and he will now do so under the management of Cesc Fabregas.”

Chelsea-linked Coulibaly joins agency representing Vinicius & Diomande

Highly-rated Werder Bremen centre-back Karim Coulibaly has opened the door to a potential move to Chelsea after changing his representatives.

The 19-year-old has been linked with a host of clubs, including Alonso's side, after a stunning breakout season in 2025-26.

And on Tuesday it was announced that Coulibaly has joined the Roc Nation sports agency, who also represent Vinicius Junior and Yan Diomande.
