Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen this summer and Roberto De Zerbi’s side believe that personal terms won’t be an issue.

That is according to CaughtOffside, who claim that a fee worth just over €75 million could be enough to finalise a deal with Galatasaray.

Chelsea are long-term admirers of the Nigeria international and it’s reported that Atletico Madrid and Manchester United have also been linked with a potential move, however Spurs appear to be the frontrunners.

Pep Chavarria agreement

Chelsea have reached a full agreement with Rayo Vallecano to sign Pep Chavarria for €25 million, according to reports in Spain.

The 28-year-old was earmarked as a priority transfer target by new Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso and a deal has reportedly been struck following weeks of lengthy negotiations between all parties.

On Saturday, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that Chelsea had improved their bid for Chavarria, and Matteo Moretto has now confirmed that a €25m deal has been fully agreed, with the 28-year-old becoming Rayo Vallecano’s most expensive sale in history.

It’s reported that Chavarria is already in London to undergo a medical, and the deal is set to be formally announced shortly, with Chelsea reaching a €25m agreement despite being previously informed that a transfer wouldn’t be finalised unless they triggered his €50m release clause.

Joao Pedro plan

Chelsea are set to reward Joao Pedro with a lucrative new contract after Arsenal expressed their desire to pay over €100 million to sign him.

The Brazilian signed a seven-year deal upon his arrival at Stamford Bridge last summer, valid until 2032, but the club are already in advanced talks over fresh terms following his eye-catching debut campaign in west London.

The Athletic report that Pedro is in line to pen extended terms with the Blues, while Nicolo Schira has revealed that his new deal will run until 2033, with Chelsea rewarding the striker with an “important” salary increase.

News of Pedro’s imminent new contract has been backed up by Brazilian outlet Globo, who report that Arsenal and Barcelona have both expressed their willingness to pay in excess of €100m to secure the signing of Pedro this summer, with both clubs eager to bolster their attacking roster.

However, Chelsea have no intention of selling the 24-year-old and they are reportedly close to formally announcing a new contract ahead of the 2026-27 campaign in order to ward off his suitors.

Ryan Kavuma-McQueen talks

Chelsea academy starlet Ryan Kavuma-McQueen is set for a temporary exit this summer, with the Blues currently locked in talks with Portsmouth over a season-long loan deal.

That is according to The Chelsea Spot, who posted on X: “We understand Portsmouth are in advanced talks with Chelsea over a loan move for Ryan Kavuma-McQueen.

“Chelsea have been exploring potential moves for the 17-year-old forward over the last few weeks with Championship and League One clubs interested.”

Kavuma-McQueen scored 13 goals in 26 games for Chelsea’s youth teams last season, while he made his senior debut during the club’s 7-0 win over Port Vale in the FA Cup.

Reggie Walsh close to joining Wigan

Chelsea midfielder Reggie Walsh is reportedly close to completing a loan move to League One side Wigan Athletic for the 2026-27 season.

Walsh caught the eye for Chelsea’s youth teams last campaign and he was one of seven academy stars to be selected for the club’s pre-season tour of Australia this summer by new manager Xabi Alonso.

The 17-year-old, who signed his first professional contract at Stamford Bridge last year, is now set to join Wigan on a season-long loan deal, according to transfer reporter Alan Nixon.

Chelsea captain Reece James enjoyed a hugely successful loan spell with the Latics before his senior breakthrough at Stamford Bridge and Walsh is close to following in his compatriot’s footsteps, despite significant competition from several other English Football League clubs.

Dastan Satpaev message

Rafael Urazbakhtin, the head coach of Dastan Satpaev’s former club Kairat, believes that Liam Delap will lose his place in the Chelsea team to the Kazakhstan striker.

“Dastan has a very good chance of establishing himself in the team,” Urazbakhtin told Sports.RU.

“When we went to Chelsea and stayed there for training, we spoke with the scouting department. Of course, this was before Alonso, but their plan was that Dastan would stay at Chelsea no matter what, and they would give him playing time to help him adapt. I think he has a good chance of establishing himself in the team.

“They have a striker - Delap. In my opinion, Dastan is stronger. He's younger, faster. Delap may have more experience - he's played in the Championship and the Premier League . However, Dastan is faster, more resilient, and more versatile. Delap, for example, is a pure forward. I'd prefer Dastan to Delap. But how would I prefer him? It's clear that I want him.”

Valentin Barco officially joins

Chelsea have officially completed the signing of Strasbourg midfielder Valentin Barco for an undisclosed fee.

The Argentina international has signed a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge, valid until 2033, and he will officially link up with Xabi Alonso’s first-team squad later in pre-season.

The 22-year-old is expected to be utilised in the middle of the park by Alonso next term, although rumours have suggested that he could immediately be sent out on loan amid Chelsea’s pursuit of Bournemouth star Alex Scott.

Barco has become Chelsea’s ninth signing of the summer window, following Morgan Rogers, Maxence Lacroix, Marco Palestra, Geovany Quenda, Emmanuel Emegha, Denner, Danny Welbeck and Dastan Satpaev, and his exact transfer fee hasn't been disclosed.
