Tchouameni bid accepted

Real Madrid have accepted an offer from Man Utd for Aurelien Tchouameni, Sergio Valentin claims.

There have been conflicting reports on whether Real Madrid are willing to let Tchouameni leave and on whether the France international is even interested in leaving. It is now asserted that Los Blancos are ready to greenlight a move for a fee of €100 million.

However, Tchouameni does not want to leave the club. Nevertheless, Man Utd will keep trying to convince the midfielder to consider a transfer to Old Trafford. Real Madrid need to make a sale before they can sign another midfielder after Bernardo Silva.

Manzambi hijack?

Man Utd have entered the race to sign SC Freiburg sensation Johan Manzambi, as per the Manchester Evening News.

The 20-year-old has impressed in the Bundesliga and at the World Cup, though he missed Switzerland's penalty shootout victory over Colombia on Tuesday due to injury. Freiburg are demanding €60m for him.

Newcastle have been in talks over a deal to bring him to St. James' Park, and there is said to be optimism that they can strike a deal. However, Man Utd are also firmly in the race for the dynamic midfielder.

Rashford U-turn confirmed

Man Utd are ready to reintegrate Marcus Rashford into their first team, The Guardian has confirmed.

The England winger will formally return to Carrington after the World Cup following loan club Barcelona's decision not to exercise their €30m purchase option. Michael Carrick is willing to give Rashford the chance to save his Man Utd career.

That does not necessarily mean that he will definitely stay this summer, but Man Utd's stance of only considering permanent offers means that this scenario is becoming increasingly likely because most of Rashford's suitors prefer a loan deal.

Santos deal agreed

Man Utd have agreed a deal with Chelsea for midfielder Andrey Santos, as per David Ornstein.

The 22-year-old will sign a five-year contract at Old Trafford after failing to nail down a regular starting spot at Chelsea. Man Utd will pay €56.3m and a further €2.3m in easily achievable add-ons.

The Blues will retain a 10% sell-on clause.

Nmecha interest remains

Man Utd are "leading the charge" for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha, according to BILD.

Despite his recent contract extension and the Bundesliga club's not-for-sale stance, the Germany international continues to be linked with suitors. Dortmund reportedly would only consider a sale if offered north of €120m.

However, it is believed that they need to make at least one major sale this summer in order to fund incoming business, which means that there may yet be an opportunity for Man Utd to pursue a deal for Nmecha.
