Man Utd target €100m double deal as Carrick's first two signings
Manchester United are reportedly interested in completing a €100 million double deal for Everton duo Iliman Ndiaye and James Garner this summer.
The Red Devils are set for a busy summer transfer window and they have identified a number of targets across European football as they prepare for a potential return to the Champions League.
The 13-time Premier League champions are currently third in the English top flight table, following a resurgence under interim boss Michael Carrick, and they are expected to bolster their squad with numerous reinforcements ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
Signing a new central midfielder is regarded as a priority by INEOS, with Casemiro set to depart on a Bosman deal in July, while they are also eager to add a new left winger following their move away from a back-three system under Carrick.
The Man Utd hierarchy have earmarked a number of top targets for both positions and they are now ready to lodge a €100m double bid for the aforementioned Ndiaye and Garner, as per a report from Spanish publication Fichajes.
It’s claimed that Man Utd are ready to pay €70m in order to secure Ndiaye’s signature and €30m to re-sign Garner just four years after selling him to Everton for €10.4m.
Man Utd eye Everton double deal
Garner signed a new long-term contract at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in January, but he has been linked with a Man Utd return for several months and a deal could feasibly be on the cards following his impressive form in 2025-26.
Ndiaye, on the other hand, is being watched by several top Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Liverpool, ahead of a potential blockbuster transfer this summer.
He has registered nine goal contributions in 25 English top flight games so far this season, and he has reportedly been sounded out as a possible alternative to fellow Man Utd targets Yan Diomande and Anthony Gordon.
