Chelsea chase record Coulibaly deal

Chelsea are among the numerous clubs interested in Werder Bremen wonderkid Karim Coulibaly, according to BILD.

The 18-year-old defender has emerged as a standout performer in the struggling Bundesliga side, and he is determined to take the next step in his career this summer.

Bremen, though, will not let him walk away on the cheap. They want to make him their record sale and are believed to be demanding as much as €50 million for the centre-back.

Caicedo: I want to become a Chelsea legend

Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo has emphatically dismissed links with Real Madrid while away on international duty with Ecuador.

The 24-year-old is said to be one of the names considered by the Spanish giants ahead of the summer transfer window, alongside midfield partner Enzo Fernandez.

However, Caicedo says he wants to leave a lasting legacy at Stamford Bridge. "I want to become a Chelsea legend," he told El Chiringuito TV. "I’m under contract, and my focus is on Chelsea and Ecuador."

Chelsea eye double swoop

Chelsea are plotting a double raid on struggling Ligue 1 side Nantes for Matthis Abline and Tylel Tati, according to But! Football Club.

The Bretons are one of the favourites to be relegated this season and could have their team picked apart in the summer if they drop down to Ligue 2. Abline and Tati have been earmarked by BlueCo as Chelsea signings, with a deal for the latter already explored in January.

If they were to be signed by the Blues, it is expected that they would initially be sent on loan to Strasbourg. It is claimed that Chelsea could make a €38m offer for the pair.

Rosenior sack latest

Under-pressure Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior remains safe in his job for now, despite the recent downturn in form, as per the BBC.

Chelsea are giving no consideration to a potential sacking, and they are fully backing the head coach ahead of the summer. Rosenior is heavily involved in transfer discussions for the upcoming window.

It would take an almighty collapse in the final weeks of the season for Chelsea to change their stance on Rosenior, meaning that he could even remain in the job if the Blues miss out on the Champions League.
