OFFICIAL: Rangers sign Andreas Skov Olsen
Rangers have officially completed the signing of Wolfsburg winger Andreas Skov Olsen.
The Denmark international has become the Ibrox club's third January arrival after Tochi Chukwuani and Tuur Rommens. Skov Olsen joins Rangers on an initial loan deal from Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.
The Glasgow giants will have a €10 million purchase option in the summer. If triggered, the 26-year-old would become the second-most-expensive signing in club history.
Skov Olsen only joined Wolfsburg for €14m 12 months ago, but he failed to nail down a regular starting spot amid the constant turmoil at the club. He only made eight Bundesliga appearances this season, scoring once.
Primarily a right-winger, Skov Olsen will massively boost Danny Rohl's attacking options as Rangers chase a first Premiership title since 2021. The Gers also continue to be linked to Hibs sharpshooter Kieron Bowie.

Speaking after his arrival at Ibrox, Skov Olsen said: "I’m very excited. I’m very happy that it’s done and I’m so excited to meet all the players, fans and the rest of the club. Rangers are the biggest club in Scotland with a huge history. It has huge traditions and is a very old club.
"When I finally heard that I had the opportunity to come here, I wasn’t in doubt for a second. I want to come here to try help win trophies with the rest of the team, do my best, and have a great time here."

“We are really excited to bring Andreas to the club," head coach Rohl added. “He is a player who has proven himself at the top level and brings experience of performing under pressure both domestically and on the European stage.
“He will provide real quality in the final third of the pitch and arrives hungry for this challenge and excited by the opportunity ahead of him.”
